Featured on LinkedIn: Networking is Antique. Start Building Genuine Connections

Forget #networking. Start making genuine #connections with people.

The difference between the two is that networking has a short lifespan that typically doesn't exceed the 9-5, whereas relationships are more long-term, if not forever.

Additionally, networking feels transactional; connecting feels relational.

The key to building genuine connections is actually quite simple: Listening. 👂

I would also contend that asking the right questions is an important element to great relationships, too— both in business and in life.
