Featured on LinkedIn: Are you working IN or ON your business?

Business owners, ask yourself: "Am I working IN my business or ON my business?"

Working IN your business consists of execution and also the management of the execution. And on the other hand, working ON your business consists of strategy and research that help with c-suite level decision-making.

Great #businessowners understand that the best way to make more money for their business is to not be so in the weeds with the day-to-day activities.

Instead, they focus more on working toward the business's overarching goals, so the specialists can get back to what THEY do best— execution! This falls into the 'ON' category.

Business owners and #entrepreneurs are best at being visionaries. And let's be real, they're probably a jack of all trades when it comes to various areas of their business, but they're not the best at ALL of them.

So, why would they waste time doing every task (and burning out) when they can hire the right person for the right job? It's a no-brainer!

I work with a lot of business owners who have a great understanding of digital marketing. But, they're self-aware of these two things:

1) They don't have the time or care to learn about hashtags and upcoming trends.
2) They don't have the know-how to execute as effectively as they could.

^ And that's why they hire expert #freelancers or marketing agencies (like mine!) to knock it out of the park! This allows the biz owners to get back to being the kick-ass visionaries that got them to where they are today.
