For me, it’s the ๐๐ถ๐บ๐ฒ I get back to spend with the ones I love.
This past week/weekend, my mom drove the 21 hours from Maine to St. Louis to spend time with me (and my brother).
The occasion? To find ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ฅ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ด๐ด for my wedding on the 4th of July weekend. (BTW, we found it)
After 5ish days of drinking lots of coffee, shopping til we dropped, eating at my favorite local spots, laughing our heads off, and working early mornings + late nights, she left on Wednesday to head back home to my dad (๐ธ๐ฉ๐ฐ ๐ฉ๐ข๐ฅ ๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ๐ฐ๐ณ ๐๐๐๐).
Before leaving, my mom wrote a little โค๏ธ note on my computer, knowing that I’d be jumping onto a meeting shortly after.
โจ Back to a normal working schedule. โจ
In this world, there’s never going to be enough time. But for the time that we do get, we must savor it.
