Featured on LinkedIn: The importance of cross-promotion on social media

Let’s talk about social media #crosspromotion. 🔁

The purpose of cross-promotion is to garner as much #awareness and #credibility around your brand/service/product as possible across #socialmedia networks.

The more social #channels a brand has, the more potential #customers and #influencers can be reached. The best strategies are the ones that make sure to tailor each message for each channel. 👏

Cross-promotion works especially well for large, parent brands that have various smaller, ‘child’ brands under them. Oftentimes, one of the two has more brand recognition and authority than the other.

By sharing relevant content on social media from parent to child and child to parent, each brand’s fanbase will then become aware of the other brands and understand the relationship between the two. 🔗

Cross-promotion can also work really well for #brands and #employees

We know that most of us would rather follow #people than we would a #company on social media. There’s a huge opportunity for employees to help boost awareness and engagement by cross-promoting. Even better, they could add to the conversation with their unique insight in the caption above. 💡

Are you ‘sharing’ the love on social media? 💗
