Featured on LinkedIn: Running a business is about thriving, not just surviving.

I recently had an epiphany… πŸ‘€

Let me start off by saying, entrepreneurship is really hard. (Surprised? πŸ˜‰)

It can feel like you’re on your own island. And every day, you’re fighting for food, water, and shelter. 🏝 You’re responsible for the business π˜€π˜‚π—Ώπ˜ƒπ—Άπ˜ƒπ—Άπ—»π—΄.

But, like many islands, it’s quite beautiful when you change the narrative.

You can hear the waves crash. Feel the sand on your toes and the sun pouring down. You can taste the salty air. 🌊

You see, surviving is criticalβ€” in business and in life. But, it isn’t the only thing that matters.

When we focus only on surviving, we’re setting ourselves up for a life of BLAH and ultimate failure. We work ourselves to death doing the wrong tasks, working with the wrong people, and never living up to our full potential.

What if, instead, we focused more on π˜π—΅π—Ώπ—Άπ˜ƒπ—Άπ—»π—΄? πŸš€

In other words, what makes you happy?
What do you want every day to look like?
What do you want more time for?
At work or at home.

When I sat down and really thought about those things, it changed everything for me. I conquered a lot of my perpetual anxieties. ❀️

So, I pose those same questions to you, my friends. I’d love to hear your answers below. πŸ‘‡
